Although its real name is Levante Beach (Platja de Llevant) or Cabanyal, the widespread the popular name of “Las Arenas“, which is given by the old Balneario Las Arenas, a characteristic building which imitates a Greek temple, currently converted into a hotel, which used to be a meeting place for the Valencian bourgeoisie of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

It is located between the leisure port (the Marina Juan Carlos I) and the traditional beach Malvarrosa. Las Arenas beach is approximately 1,200 meters long and has an average width of 135 meters of fine golden sand.

It is bordered by a long promenade with numerous local hotels and restaurants that offer an appealing accommodation and fresh local cuisine. It is also one of the most popular places to go for its nightlife in summer time.
